 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Economics or in a related field. Postgraduate teaching experience and proficiency in Arabic will be preferred. Familiarity with monetary economics, industrial and international business issues especially in Asia Pacific region, and an ability to teach other functional areas in Business Management would be an added advantage.

The successful applicant should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Economics, Islamic Economics, and Money and Banking at Bachelor and Master’s levels. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in the activities of the university.

B.  Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Accounting or in related field. Postgraduate teaching experience and proficiency in Arabic will be preferred. Ability to teach other functional areas in Management, Accounting for Islamic Banking and Finance would be an advantage.

The successful applicant should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Accounting and Islamic Banking and Finance at Bachelor, Masters and Executive Training levels. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in the activities of the university.

C.  Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Quantitative Methods or Statistical Analysis or Research Methodology or in related field. Postgraduate teaching experience will be preferred. Familiarity with international business issues especially in Asia Pacific region, and ability to teach other functional areas in business management sciences would be an added advantage.

The successful applicant should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Quantitative Methods, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Business Research Methods, Production and Operations Management at Bachelor and Masters levels. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in the activities of the university.

D.  Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Management or other related field. Experience in teaching ICT and Strategic Planning will be an advantage. Postgraduate teaching experience will be preferred. Familiarity with international business issues especially in Asia Pacific region, and ability to teach other functional areas in business management sciences would be an added advantage.

The successful applicant should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at Bachelor and Masters levels. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in the activities of the university.

E.  Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Law of Transactions or other related field in Islamic Studies. Postgraduate teaching experience and proficiency in Arabic will be preferred. Familiarity with contemporary and international business issues especially in Asia Pacific region, and ability to teach other functional areas in business and management sciences would be an added advantage.

The successful applicant should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Commercial Law at Bachelor and Masters levels. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in the activities of the university.

F.  Lecturer / Senior Lecturer /Associate Professor / Professor

G. Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Philosophy or other related field and teaching experience in informal logic, Critical and Creative Thinking and Argument Analysis. Knowledge in non-Western alternatives to rational discourse is preferred. In addition, competence in non-linear discursive approaches, e.g. lateral thinking and creative thinking, would be sought. Ability to teach both in English and Arabic would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should be able to develop and teach courses in the areas of Critical and Creative Thinking. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in activities of the university.

H) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

 Applicants should have a Master’s degree in English or TESL/EFL with teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions. The successful candidate should be able to develop and teach General Proficiency courses, English for Academic Purposes and Writing and Communication Skills courses. Expected to advise and mentor students and active involvement in activities of the university.

I) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

 Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Arabic or TASL/AFL with teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions. The successful candidate should be able to develop and teach General Proficiency Courses, Arabic for Academic Purposes and Writing and Communication Skills courses. Expected to advise and mentors students and active involvement in activities of the university.

J) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Information and Communication Technology or related field, and evidence of teaching excellence and active research agenda. Postgraduate teaching experience and proficiency in Arabic will be preferred. The successful candidate should be able to develop and teach both basic/skill and advance ICT courses. Expected to advise and mentor students and assist/give training to staff of the university in usage of ICT in their teaching and administration.

K) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

 Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in the field of Brunei Studies such as History, Culture and Anthropology. A strong commitment to research and publication, and demonstrated teaching excellence are essential. The successful candidate should be able to develop and teach MIB and Brunei Studies courses in Malay. Abilities to teach these courses in English and Arabic will be preferred. Expected to advise and mentor students and involve in activities of the university.

L) Associate Professor/Professor

 Applicants should have a Ph.D degree in Shariah and has interest in research in Sunni School of Thought and Maddhab Shafi’i and has published works in the field. Familiarity with the history and development of Maddhab Shafi’i in Southeast Asia will be preferred.

The successful candidate should be able to develop research agenda and other activities to promote the interest in the work of Maddhab Shafi’i in the university.
