Advanced knowledge of Windows 2003 Server O/S, IIS, ISA, CISCO routers and switches, Ethernet, Frame relay, MPLS, ISDN protocols.

MS Exchange skills desirable

Network planning, installation, configuring. LAN/WAN administration. Router and Server security administration. INET and VPN administration. Disaster Recovery planning and administration for servers. Hardware/software configuration, installation and maintenance.

Service and Maintenance Manager (Kanoo IT Division)

Education in Engineering or Marketing.

 

Experience in Service and Maintenance Unit Development for Blue Chip or significant distributor in the GCC area

Service Center Responsibility in HW and SW a plus

Fluent in English and Arabic (a definite plus)

Manager, Quality Control

Diploma in Automobile Engineering (or) equivalent, Actuarial Science.

 

Minimum 8-10years experience in an automotive industry in Quality Assurance. Knowledgeable in ISO, TQM, Six Sigma and Kaizen.

JOB PURPOSE

Develops and implements quality assurance standards, processes, controls, methods for inspection, testing, sampling, and training. Evaluates production capabilities and recommends improvements. Assist in developing quality assurance policies and procedures.  Ability to implement Quality management systems such as ISO 9000, Total Quality Management, and methodologies such as Continuous Improvement in the workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR TASKS

DEVELOPMENT AND ENFORCEMENT OF QUALITY SERVICE

Driving adoption of SQA tools and process and reviewing opportunities and delivery of engagements to ensure quality delivery. Responsible to take critical decisions regarding actions that need to be made to ensure high-quality delivery of services. Ensure adherence to all defined processes for service, feedback and input focused toward maintenance and enhancement of existing service level. Ensuring TMC’s TSM standard implementation, conducting environment audit, maintenance and development of systems and procedures inline with TMC’s guidelines. Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve the various processes in service operations. Develop Annual Action plan related to Quality Service Award Program and follow up the progress.

MANAGEMENT REPORT

Monitor and provide periodic reports to management on the TUS, SMS, Service Capacity, efficiency, productivity, utilisation, Labour & Parts – sales, training certification, and cost benefits. Suggest strategies, actions and changes required to improve the above parameters. Monitor the budget vs. actual achievements. Develop and implement effective service strategy inline with EKK group’s quality vision. Compiling and sending the TMC principal reports related to QAS Award and other reports in time inline with TMC guidelines or requirement.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Manage the quality of output and productivity of the service. Identify and recommend timely quality assurance actions for facility improvement, maintenance of work shop equipments, reception facilities, tools, SST. Monitor 5S activities in all branches and maintain standards. Incorporate TQM, ISO, Six Sigma and other appropriate quality policies and procedures in the workplace. Advise on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Assist in handling customers, study processes evolved from the reception to the delivery of vehicles, quality of work and channelling of feedback to the operations management for improvements. Developing and conducting the quality service program, SQ complaint handling and staff motivational trainings / meetings. Train field services on SQA tools and processes including new program features, service and delivery processes.

Manager, PDI

Diploma in Automobile Engineering (or) equivalent, Actuarial Science.

 

He will responsible for the entire PDI Operations of Toyota & Lexus Vehicles from the port to vehicle delivery to customers.

Constant coordination with sales & service Departments.

Management of the New car inventory at the Stock Yards.

Lead and be responsible for a group of Technical staff, receptionists & Service Support Staff at PDI.

Ensure proper inputs of the vehicle information in the system.

Management on through inspection of the vehicles, proper diagnosis and preparing reports to the service manager for manufacturing defects, and mishandling at the port or at the Stock Yards.

Technical explanation to the new car customers and counter support in smooth transition of the vehicles delivery.

Knowledge on Warranty repairs, Body and Paint Service, accessories fittings and Rust Proofing Services.

Knowledge in vehicle registration and insurance formalities.

Ensure proper maintenance of all the equipment.

Management of the premises up-keep to the best.

Preparation of management reports periodically on PDI operations status.

Supervisor,  PDI

Minimum 5 years experience in an automotive industry in Quality Control/PDI department.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for conduct of Pre delivery inspection and  on-Time delivery of Toyota and Lexus vehicles to Customers in Coordination with Sales Dept, Service Dept  and Logistics dept. Control of  PDI Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR TASKS

PDI Process

Supervise the PDI process that includes, Quality Inspection of Vehicle as per PDS Inspection Check sheet. Co-ordination with logistic and Sales department for transportation of Vehicle from various locations and Service Centre. Inspection of various accessories fitted in the vehicle, Accurate timely information to the Sales staff regarding the status of  vehicle with respect to vehicle readiness, delay if any  due to quality problems ,etc., Supervise and control the Showroom Yard Inventory and avoid long time storage of PDI completed vehicles, Lead the responsible group of Technicians and service support staff to achieve goals of the department and In time vehicle deliveries.

SERVICE QUALITY

Ensure regular periodic maintenance schedule in terms of KM service in order the customer's avails warranty benefits. Achieve Zero defects in vehicles before vehicle delivery. Periodically Report to the Warranty Section and TSC regarding the various defects observed during PDI.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Educate the PDI Technicians regarding the Inspection Procedure and new systems/Technology implemented in the Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Grasp, monitor all vehicle specification and educate the same to the PDI staff to achieve highest level of Customer satisfaction during the vehicle delivery.

He needs to report Manager, PDI.

Motorcity Service Technicians

Tyre Technicians

 

Diploma in Automobile Engineering/Auto Mechanic

ITI Certification.

 

To identify the vehicles as per job card and re-check for any body damages or abnormality in vehicle, as mentioned in job card anything noticed should be immediately reported to controller or service advisor and added on job card before starting the job.

Diagnose and rectify the problems as per the customer complaints mentioned in job card any oil/water leaks, abnormal sound or any additional problem with the vehicle should be notified to advisor and added in job card.

 As per the customer complaints prepare estimation for required jobs and parts only (High cost quote should be rechecked and confirmed as per the manufacturers diagnosis procedure).

Carry out the jobs as per the quote approved following the manufacturers repair procedure and company quality standards.

Make necessary routine checkups on vehicles reported to workshop for any job (oil levels, coolant level, brake fluid levels, wiper water, and tyre pressure).

Keep old parts in customer car if requested by service advisor (Take care the old parts are packed properly and cause no damage to vehicle interiors).

Follow warranty policies and procedures for all repair jobs.

Able to do related jobs such as wheel balancing, wheel alignment, Tyre replacement, Disc skimming etc.

Proper handling and care of diagnosis tools and special tools.

Keep the working tools, work area and workshop clean and tidy.

Try to maintain zero comebacks on repair jobs.

Wear clean company uniform, safety shoes and company ID.

Co-ordinate properly with seniors and colleagues and support them when required.

Avoid use of personel mobile during working hours especially when carrying out the repair job.

Ensure safe working environment.

Use and take proper care of equipment and company property.

Follow instructions from management and supervisors to carry out jobs required for the smooth functioning of operation and customer satisfaction.

Follow and abide by the companies policies and code of conduct.

 

Tyre technicians need to know about the construction of tyres, different types of tyres, vehicle parts and tyre fitting techniques. They also need to know the safety standards.

Tyre technicians need to have practical skills and basic mechanical, computer and math skills. They also need to be able to analyse and diagnose problems, and should customer relation’s skills, as they are required deal frequently with the clients.

Advise customers on tyre problems, choosing tyres and costs. Ensure safety care of customer’s property at all time. Drive vehicle on to hoists and jacks. Enure adherence to company policy & procedure at all times.

Change or repair tyres and balance wheels. Align wheels. Receive, check and shelve new tyres. Test-drive vehicles to diagnose problems and make sure problems have been fixed. Perform sales tasks of tyre and collect the payments. Keep the workshop clean and tidy.

He needs to report Service Manager.
