Applications are invited for employment with a
shipping lines company based in Netherlands for
the following positions:

Applicants already having work experience at
ship or out of their home country will be given
preference. For positions 3-8 applicants
previously worked in the Hotel industry or out
of country will have added credit. Positions 1-2
requires professional education (like M.B.B.S.
and Diploma of Medical Nurse) with minimum 4
years practical experience in a recognized
Hospital. Private practice will not be
considered as experience. Positions 3,4,5,6 & 8
will requires minimum experience of 2 years in a
hospitality industry. For Position 7 experience
is not necessary. Positions 9, requires working
experience with armed forces preferably in the
Navy.
Facilities:
Free Food:
Positions No.3 & 9 will be provided free 4 meals
a day at crew mess onboard with 30 minutes break
of each meal. Positions 1-2 will be also
provided 4 meals a day in officer mess onboard
with 30 minutes break of each meal.
Accommodation:
For positions 3-9 Free accommodation onboard in
cabins will be provided, shared with other 5-6
crews in one cabin, normally all cabins are wall
to wall carpet, toilet-bath and TV, chairs etc,
as common practice cabins being shared with
people of different nationalities.
Positions 1 would be accommodated in single
cabin wall to wall carpeted attached with
toilet, bath TV, table and chair. (In case of
family they could be stationed in the
Netherlands at own cost for which visas
assistance for family members will be provided
after completion of 4 regular working months).
For Position No.2 will be provided two persons
cabin, with some one of same brand / trade.
Medical:
Full medical coverage on free of cost employment
contract will be provided and during sign-off
days. After completion of first 4 regular
working months it will include wife and children
for which a fixed amount of medical expenses for
family members US $ 40 per person per quarter
will be paid.
Transportation:
For most assignments, Employer will provide air
transportation from home to the ship and back
for the full assignment period. In some
locations, employer will even have someone meet
their crewmembers and new hire to arrange their
necessary travel to the port of call, attend
training (for fresh hire).
Visa Arrangement:
Travel documents extendable / Valid passports
are needed for all candidates, crew members.
Finally selected candidates will need to obtain
a C1/D visa for USA. It is a special visa for
non US & Canadian nationals to work onboard at
cruise ship. This can be obtained at the US
Embassy in Islamabad – Pakistan. And other
relevant visas for respective reporting country
will also be required for all Pakistan nationals
regardless first report or joining back to the
vessel.
The cost of medical examination, character
verification, communication and courier charges,
expense of data scrutiny etc. will be paid by
the candidates in advance as non-refundable
processing fee of Euro 450. Under any
circumstances this amount is non-refundable,
particularly in case of any one disqualify on
the ground of language, medical and security
clearance and security clearance from local law
enforcement authorities.
Eligibility for Application:
The applicant must not be a screen-out or
terminated against any charges from any Shipping
company Airline under the International Civil
Aviation / Maritimes Law, or on health ground.
Should not be charged / sentenced under any
offence in any country nor be wanted by any
country against any charge. (It is subjected for
character clearance from local law enforcement
agencies).
Applicant must not be affiliated with any banned
organization, society, club or any political
party declared threat for humanity of any
country and international community.
Applicants must possess passport which should be
valid and extendable travel document.
All applicants must have pleasant personality,
good command over English language speaking
reading, writing and sound health.
Finally selected candidates will obtain 6 weeks
ground training, that will most probably be
conducted in Singapore or Malaysia. After
issuance of employment letter the date of
training will be intimated direct to candidates.
During the ground training normal wage as per
mentioned in work contract would not be paid.
Prior to commencement of ground training all
selected candidates will be asked to sign a job
contract, Surety Bond, in some cases a cash
security deposit equal to Pound 5000.00
(refundable) could be required.
B. Interested candidates are requested to apply
on "Personal History Form" alongwith two
photographs, copies of educational and
experience certificates, to any of the following
Offices of the Corporation from where they can
obtained " Personal History Form" after making
payment of Rs.1500/- (for Doctors) and Rs.1000/-
(for all other) for registration which is
valid for one year.

Employment Exchanges in the Province of Punjab.
Existing candidates of the CV Online Service are
required to give their consent on plain paper
along with the documents mentioned at para-B
above indicating their valid/renewed CV I.D.
Note:-
(a) Government/ Semi-Government employees should
apply through proper channel.
(b) No TA/DA will be admissible if called for
interview.
