General Manager, Marketing:-

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor Degree or Higher with Marketing Degree.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in
English. Possess a dynamic leadership skills and
excellent team-work qualities. 15 years of varied
practical, supervisory and management experience in
marketing with solid background in the petrochemical
industry. Thorough knowledge of strategic business
unit (SBU) management style and procedures. Thorough
knowledge of global economics and general product
markets, production and distribution.

Job Summary:
Senior Management Executive with over 15 years of
successful progressive experience in a rapidly
growing multi-divisional organization. Develops and
manages business units and formulate/administer
marketing and business plans and budget. Builds
global brand equity and form business alliances to
protect the investment of the organization through
open channels of communication and cooperative
relationships with the executive management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads and manages all marketing activities
related to market research, analysis, promotion
and the solicitation of prospect customers.
Leads and manages the company’s overall sales,
marketing plans, strategies and budgets.
Participates in the company’s business planning
and development by possessing thorough market
exposure and sound business skills. Advises and
assists on the annual planning cycle and
prepares profitability forecast for all
department raw materials and marketed products.
Leads and manages the complete sales cycle from
qualifying, to proposal development, to
competing and finally closing. Provides an
overview to department management on business
results and product profitability in relation to
evaluation of financial results and future
business/market trends. Conducts market and
production research studies and prepares reports
to management on how to improve profitability.
Assists in setting prices for different products

b. General Manager, Operations:-
Qualifications and Experience:
B. S. in Chemical Engineering. 15+ years experience
in process plant engineering, start-up and operation
preferably in a Propane Dehydrogenation and
Polypropylene Plant. Excellent leadership and
team-work qualities. Excellent oral and written
communication skills in English.
Job Summary:
Direct & coordinate the activities of managers and
their teams involved in Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH)
and Polypropylene in order to achieve company’s
production, safety, quality, and environmental
goals. Assists in the development and formulation
of company strategies and business policies in the
area of Engineering & Operations. Negotiate with
major suppliers and customers (off takers) to ensure
profitable deals are in place.
Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee
the Polypropylene plant operations, setting
priorities consistent with department and plant
goals, assigning tasks, setting targets for the
completion of tasks. Support the Polypropylene
project teams during detailed engineering,
construction, commissioning and start-up.
Coordinates the preparation of the Polypropylene
plant operating budget and monitor performance on a
regular basis. Coordinate with Maintenance and
Technical Staff on operational problems. Provide
technical leadership, appraising alternative
approaches to the solution of problems, committing
and planning resources, setting deadlines and
following-up to successful completion. Interface
with other company resources, external technical
resources, other chemical plants and the corporate
office. Participate in long-range resources planning
in support of identified production plans.
Responsible for carrying out his duties to the
highest quality standards. Ensure that all
activities in his areas are carried in accordance
with the requirements as defined in Advanced
Polypropylene Company (APPC) Environmental
Management System manual.
c.
Manager, Engineering:-
Qualifications and Experience:
B. S. degree in one of the following engineering
discipline – Process, Chemical, Instrument,
Electrical or Mechanical. Minimum of 12-15 years of
experience as engineer in design, construction,
operation or maintenance field in which 5 years in
management. Familiar with QA/Standards and
Environmental regulations.
Job Summary:
To manage and coordinate the engineering and
technical activities such as plant and process
modification, optimization study, new process and
business development study and technology
evaluation, ensuring that targets and quality
targets are met cost-effectively, efficiently and
safely. To direct the activities of Project
engineering, Process engineering, Laboratory Section
Heads in order to determine most feasible approach
to technical and engineering solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recommend improvements to departmental policy and
direct the implementation of procedures and controls
covering all areas of Engineering activity so that
all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are
fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective
service to customers. Support the Polypropylene
project teams during detailed engineering,
construction, commissioning and start-up. Coordinate
with Maintenance and Technical Staff on operational
problems. Provide technical leadership, appraising
alternative approaches to the solution of problems,
committing and planning resources, setting deadlines
and following-up to successful completion. Provides
complete engineering services to the production
plants and others (in all professional areas –
Project engineering). Prepares technical studies on
plant modification, and reviews studies on new
business and new technologies. The department keeps
all the technical and engineering documents.
Provides inspection and equipment monitoring
services to improve the plant safety and
reliability. Provides services to ensure product
quality to customers and to the process section
supervisions. Provide work direction and evaluate
the performance of staff reporting directly.
Prepare, obtain approval and control budget. Develop
career plans for permanent staff in order to
maximize subordinate and departmental performance.
Responsible for carrying out his duties to the
highest quality standards. Ensure that all
activities in his areas are carried in accordance
with the requirements as defined in Advanced
Polypropylene Company (APPC) Environmental
Management System manual. Manage the effective and
timely inspection and monitoring of environmental
aspects and performance to ensure that the company
complies with all the international standards (ISO
14001) and RCER 2004). |
