Our valued client M/s Dubai Electricity and
Water Authority (DEWA) required the following
professionals in Fire and Security.
1.
EXECUTIVE (FIRE & SECURITY)
(MM1) 01 No. Ref.No.GEN-A/249/07
Candidates must
be holders of dual professional qualifications
in Fire and Security with Diploma in Operational
fire fighting and security management or higher.
He should have at least one year training from a
disciplined force of Police, Army and Industrial
Security Force/ Fire brigade.
He must have undergone Emergency Response
Training and must be able to handle emergency
operations.
He must be thorough in Security Access control
systems, alarm systems, Security hard wares,
CCTV System in security applications. He must be
thorough in operational fire fighting methods,
fire prevention, fire protection and fire
suppression activities. He must be proficient
in International Fire codes and standards such
as NFPA, British and Loss Prevention Standards
and also general safety standards. He must be
able review Contract Specifications for fire
fighting equipment, security hardware and
provide feedback to his superiors. Must have
thorough knowledge on modern fire fighting and
fire protection equipment.
Good
communication skills. Good knowledge about
organizational study, development of action
plan, section analysis and diagnosis. Evaluation
and review work measurement, work method study,
risk assessment.
Excellent
written/spoken English and computer skills to
use MS Office are essential as well, Ability to
work independently and manage a team and impart
required training. Must carryout any other
instructions given by his superiors.
Minimum 5
years experience in this position in Government
forces Age limit: 25 to 35 Years.
2.
SENIOR SAFETY OFFICER( FIRE BRIGADE) :
( NS4)

Must be Diploma
holder in Fire and Industrial Safety. He will
responsible to carry out fire department
occupational health and safety programs and
raise awareness level among staff for safe
operations of fire fighting, incident management
and maintenance of fire fighting equipment. He
must be able to conduct toolbox talk to staff on
different Fire & safety issues. Must be able to
make different risk assessments and keep records
for safety audits. Must be fluent in English and
able to write perfect reports and presentations
on safety. Excellent written/spoken English and
computer skills are essential to use as well as
the ability to work independently and in a team.
Minimum 5
years experience in this position in a
Government Fire Brigades / fire force. Age limit
25 to 35 years
3.
LEADING FIREMAN: (NS4) 09

Candidates must
be Diploma holder in operational fire fighting
or higher and passed relevant tests applicable
to Leading Fireman. He must be proficient in
International fire codes, standards and approved
code of practices such as NFPA and British
standards. Must be able to study, review fire
fighting and fire protection specifications,
drawings and schemes and provide comments,
suggestions and opinions in accordance with
codes and standards. Must have thorough
knowledge on different types of fires and
successful execution of control methods. Must
have thorough knowledge of modern fire fighting
equipment. Must be able to write reports and
handle all types of fire station records.
Manage and supervise junior staff members
Develop and maintain effective relationships
with Team Members and carry out training to
staff members. Must ensure safety at all times
in executing his job. Excellent written/spoken
English and computer skills to use MS Office are
essential as well as the ability to work
independently. Must carryout any other
instructions given by Superiors. Must be willing
to work in shifts.
Minimum 5
years experience as Leading fireman in a
Government Fire Brigades / fire force. Age limit
: 25 to 35 Years
4.
FIRE TENDER OPERATOR. (NS2) 10

Candidates must
be high school certificate holder and passed
fire apparatus driver/operator professional
qualifications from Government fire
brigades/fire force. He must be able to drive
all types of fire fighting trucks including
snorkel or aerial apparatus off road and on
road, control and operate, elevating devices,
fire pumps, portable fire pumps and other rescue
equipment. He must apply safe methods in
executing his job. He must carry out routine
and daily operators’ checks and maintain the
apparatus and equipments in good working
condition in line with fire brigade standard
operating procedures. Must be able to able to
read and write reports. Excellent written/spoken
English and computer skills to use MS Office
software and ability to work in a team. Must
carryout any other instructions given by
Superiors. Must be willing to work in shifts.
Minimum 5
years experience as Fire apparatus operator in a
Government Fire Brigades / fire force. Age
limit: 25 to 35 years.
5.
FIRE EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN.
(NS3)02 Nos. Ref.No.GEN-A/252/07
Must be
Mechanical Diploma holder and also certified to
carry out test, service, hydratest fire hoses,
fire extinguishers and breathing apparatus.
He is
responsible for all the activities of Fire
Station workshop, periodical testing, preventive
and breakdown maintenance, servicing all types
of fire extinguishers including CO2, breathing
apparatus and refilling activities as per
International fire safety codes and standards.
Must be able to maintain fire station equipment
and other field fire fighting equipment at Power
Stations and keep computerized records for
safety audits
Excellent
written/spoken English and computer skills to
use MS Office are essential as well as the
ability to work independently and in a team.
Must carryout any other instructions given by
Superiors.
He must forecast
and report the requirement of accessories,
tools, spares and consumables.
Minimum 5
years experience in this position in a
Government Fire Brigades / fire force. Age
limit: 25 to 35 years.
6.
FIREMAN ( NS1) 28
Nos. Ref.No.GEN-A/254/07
Must be high
school Passed. Should have undergone minimum
6months training as a fireman in fire fighting,
rescue and subjects of Manual of Foremanship.
Must be responsible to fight the fires
efficiently, effectively conforming personal
safety to minimize the fire loss. Also
responsible to inspect and maintain all types of
portable, mobile fire fighting equipment and
accessories, upkeep of their personal protective
clothing and equipment. Must have thorough
knowledge on all fire fighting equipment and
their operation. Good knowledge in fire
fighting tactics and fire brigade drills. Should
possess good communication skills. Must be
willing to work in a team and shifts. Able to
read and write English very well. Computer
knowledge will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5
years experience in this position in a
Government or Industrial Fire Brigades / fire
force. Age limit 25 to 35 years.
7.
SECURITY GUARD (NS1) 37 Nos. Ref.No.GEN-A/255/07
Must be High
School passed. Should have undergone at least 6
months security training in Army Police,
Industrial Security force background. He should
implement and exercise gate control procedures
as per Authority’s Policy, man access control
system and grant access to authorized personnel
by verification of identity cards, entry passes
of personnel and vehicles, material and tool
gate passes and visitors control as per policy,
carryout vehicle searching and checking etc.,
and maintain relevant records. Also assist fire
crew in case of fire emergency.
Must be holders
of basic fire fighting and first aid training.
Should be able to handle the work under pressure
and carryout any other instructions from his
superiors.
Must be fluent
in English to speak, read and write very well.
Must be smart, well built and willing to work in
shifts. Computer knowledge in MS Office.
Minimum 5
years experience in this position in a
Government security organizations (Police, Army,
Navy or Industrial Security Force.) Age limit 25
to 35 years
