It is a company limited by shares as a private limited concern. Its equity is entirely owed by the Government of Pakistan. The basic mandate of the Corporation is to promote foreign employment for Pakistani citizens.
The Corporation has so far provided more than 1,26,500 professionals, highly skilled, skilled and semi-skilled workers to foreign employers. Apart from meeting the precise standards of foreign employers, the Corporation also acts as a Protector of Emigrants and looks after the interests of Pakistanis proceeding on foreign employment.
